The City Council has approved plans submitted by Samet Corporation on behalf of Brookstown Development Partners, which is owned by Billy Prim, to develop a 200-unit apartment complex on the triangular parcel of land between Peters Creek Parkway, West First Street, and Park Circle, next to BB&T Ballpark. The plans feature an underground parking deck (which is nice), however the plans are controversial because the original master-plan submitted along with plans for the Ballpark featured mixed-use development.
